I fished the River Derwent on the Chatsworth House beat 10/05/2017.

Absolutely stunning stretch of water with Chatsworth House as a backdrop, it does not get any more picturesque than this. I used the Guideline Fario Classic 10ft 3W rod with a Guideline Fario LW reel and the Guideline presentation evolve line. I find this set up really good and it copes well with a number of different techniques from french leader, czech nymph  to dry fly fishing.

The weather was excellent , if not a bit bright for fishing, but I managed twenty two fish to the net and lost a few along the way. Big thanks to Pete Lax for my invite, I always look forward to fishing here.
