Fishing On The River Derwent At  Chatswoth

Had a great day fishing on the river Derwent in front of Chatsworth House today with fellow instructor and guide Pete Lax.  We never saw an hatch coming off all day, but I managed to catch approx fifteen fish all on nymphs.

My biggest fish was only 1.5lb but all the fish caught fought very hard. This stretch of water is in my top three favourite beats to fish.  One word  to describe it breathtaking.  Thanks for the invite Pete, look forward to my next visit.
