Like most of you, I have cleaned all my Flyfishing equipment down, filled my fly boxes and packed my kit bags in anticipation of being allowed to fish again.
People like to carry their kit in different ways. If I’m fishing for a short period of time I will take what I require and put it in my Guideline Alta Sonic T zip waders as they have multiple pockets, this allows me to travel light. If I’m out for the day then I load my kit into my Guideline Alta waist bag. This bag is water proof has a roll top closure, side pocket, fly patch and is very comfortable to carry.
The bag slides around the waist band so you can pull it to your front when you need to access your flies, tippet etc, then slide it out of your way when your fishing. I have often waded across deep rivers and just floated the bag on the surface to get to the other side. One of my friends, Alun Rees described this bag as a tardis when he saw me using it. I’m not a lover of wearing vests as I find them restricting when I’m casting and crawling through vegetation. If your like me and you don’t like to feel restricted when you’re fishing and you want a comfortable bag that has endless space, look no further than the Guideline Alta waterproof waist bag.
